Lalitha Delparente, originally from Bangalore (India), grew up in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.
In 2010, she graduated in violin with top marks at the Conservatory of Como. She continued to study violin in Zürich with Kilian Schneider (Tonhalle Orchestra). She currently works as a violin teacher and collaborates with several orchestras and chamber ensembles in Switzerland and Italy.
In order to deepen her knowledge of the subject and intrigued by the possibilities of theatre, she decided to undertake a course in playwriting as part of Luminanza, a reactor for contemporary Italian-language dramaturgy, edition 2021. In 2022 it was selected by theatre spektakel zürich to be in the watch and talk group. In 2023 it was selected by auawirleben bern to be in the watch and talk group «Siamo quelli giusti (We are the right ones)» will be staged at the Chiasso and Lugano theatre in 2023.
Since 2023, she works for RSI as the presenter of Paganini and for Rete due.
